this week saw a good win for the oakfield and the coffee bar also the star broke thier lossing strike well done to all. and to subside a rummor no steve cunningham did not have a heart attach he pulled a muscle in his chest which he got when he dropped a ten pence coin . the coin did not hit the floor

Coffee Bar Crib Team
Sadly the Coffee Bar will close at the end of October.
Our team started playing there in 2011 when The Girlings Club closed so that's 14 years we have been playing there and in that time we sadly have lost many friends.
I and my vice Captain Andrew Harrison are the only two players left from the original group that came over from the Girlings Club. In our time at the Coffee Bar we have been quite successful as a team winning the league 4 times, KO Cup twice, Singles (6) 3 times, Singles (5) twice, Pairs twice ant the Mixed once.
I would like to express on behalf of the team our thanks to all the staff and committee who have done us proud these 14 years.
We have managed to keep the team in Croesy and as of the 28th of October we will play all our fixtures and competitions from Croesy Cricket & Rugby Club. Who have made us most welcome.
I have many fond memories of the Coffee Bar and I wish Jane, the staff and committee best wishes for the future

Competition Draws at Venues
The above always seems to cause problems each year. We have even given
out sheets to try and help.
Basically it is as follows:-
8 at venue no problem just a straight draw.
7 at venue 1 bye remaining 6 play that will then leave 4
6 at venue 2 byes remaining 4 play that will then leave 4
5 at venue 3 byes remaining 2 play that will then leave 4
4 at venue no problem straight draw.
3 at venue 1 bye remaining 2 play that will then leave 2
